Aliza Lalji
Aliza was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024. Her practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of personal injury, accident benefits claims, occupier’s liability, and insurance coverage.
Aliza was originally called to the Manitoba Bar in 2022, where she practiced at a mid-sized full-service firm focussing on corporate and commercial law, Indigenous law and litigation. She has appeared before the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench and assisted on matters before the Manitoba Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Aliza has advocated for both sides and embraces efficient and cost-effective approaches to dispute resolution.
Aliza completed law school at the University of Leeds in 2020. She then obtained her LLM from University of Toronto. Prior to attending law school, Aliza completed a B. Comm from McMaster University and worked in corporate strategy and marketing-based roles for nearly a decade.
